Sunday/Monday Weekly Posts - January 19th and 20th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

Happy Sunday and Monday Everyone!

January is off to a good start for me.  I already finished five books and all of them have been great.  Not a bad one in the bunch.

I had two blog tours last week and one scheduled for next week.  It's been much easier for me since I've been limiting myself as far as the tours go.  There just aren't enough hours in a day to do everything I'd like to do and I really want to start writing my own cozy mystery already :)

The weather has still been weird but at least no sub-zero degree weather and no snow.  I'm happy about that.  It's still weather to read by, though...okay, so I can make an argument to read in any type of weather :)

I've recently become hooked on watching the series Dexter on Netflix.  I never knew what a good show it was when it was still on the air.

I hope you all have a great week and read many great books!

Yvonne

  13. Yay for starting out the year strong. I remember watching the first few episodes of Dexter and liking it, but never continued for some weird reason. I should get back to that. Enjoy your upcoming books!

  14. I am getting a bit weather stir crazy as I miss walking outside. It has been too icy to risk falling. I got hooked on Breaking Bad and watch on Netflix. Have a great week of reading.
