Sunday/Monday Posts - November 6th and 7th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday!

A bad reading week for me.  I didn't finish anything.  I just haven't had much reading time lately.  Plus, and this is probably the real reason for the lack of reading time, I got sick.  I had a fever with congestion and coughing.  I couldn't concentrate on reading.  All I could pretty much do was watch TV. So, at least I got caught up on some of my TV shows.

I'm feeling better now, so maybe I'll do better with reading this week.  Although I do have alot of family things going on, so I don't know.

All I've really done this week is concentrate on getting better and resting.  Not much else you can do when you are sick.

I hope you have all been doing better than I did this week.  Have a great week and read many great books!

Yvonne

  1. It's always a drag being sick, glad you're feeling better. I didn't read much this past week either, although I don't really have an excuse. This week just got away from me...

Death At First Sight looks fun! And so do some of those other ones... and The Blue Coyote looks interesting!

  4. What a neat mix! I don't think I've heard of any of these, though Lori Wilde sounds familiar. It is definitely that time of year for a Christmas-themed story. :D I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

    Have a fabulous week. :)

  7. Those are the worst kind of illnesses. I can handle cold where I can rest and read, but it sounds like you were down for the count. I hope this week you continue to feel better.

  10. Sometimes we have weeks when reading doesn't make the cut. Good that you are feeling better and hope all the events for this week go well.
